At the moment the vacancies that we are looking to fill include:

Interested in starting a career in Childcare, Health and Social Care or Support Teaching and Learning in Schools, Business Administration and Professional Cookery.

AJZ Activity Centre is looking for an Apprentice Chef

Closing date 17th February 2012

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to undertake a chef apprenticeship in a busy children’s indoor play centre. Our food is all prepared and cooked to order, serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals and is well known for our good food and value for money. Assisting chef. You will contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen by preparing and presenting food to a high standard and maintaining hygiene practices.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to fill a vacancy in our busy country pub. We are looking for an apprentice to take on the responsibility involved in the running of a bustling kitchen. The position will involve making homemade specials, fresh meat, fish and vegetable prep and cooking as well as fresh home made desserts. Guidance will also be given in the costing of dishes. There is scope for the candidate to cover days off and use their own judgment when situations arise.

South West Councils are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice

Opportunity for a person to complete an apprenticeship with South West Councils. You will be responsible for providing administrative support as required, including:

photocopying, faxing, filing and, where relevant, researching information.
dealing appropriately with telephone calls, incoming and outgoing correspondence.
helping in the maintenance of appropriate files and electronic databases, including the collection and keeping of statistical data.
support meetings, including room set up, refreshments and clearing rooms, providing reception services to clients; printing of relevant documentation such as agendas and minutes.

providing on the day support at events, including delegate registration and other related arrangements as required by the lead officer.
