Our Sustainable Travel Policy
We are part of the Taunton Deane Green Policy. We encourage our visitors to use alternative forms of transport and provide cycle racks and cycle paths. We are part of the car share scheme for Taunton Deane and have designated parking areas for users of the scheme.
How to find us
Parking Policy
Somerset Centre for Enterprise is based at Somerset College. Somerset College has limited parking on campus. Visitors are encouraged to car share where possible and use public transport when visiting the campus. See below for information on public transport to the College.
The College employs a £1 per day car parking charge across all of the campus car parks (weekdays only). Please note that at weekends some of the car parks are closed.

Road
Coming either north or south on the M5 you can get off at either Junction 25 (Taunton A358) or Junction 26 (Taunton A38). Click here for a route plan.
Park and Ride
Buses leave the Park and Ride car park (near the Silk Mills Roundabout, click here for a map) every 6 to 12 minutes. They will drop you off in front of the College entrance. The cost is £1.50 return including free parking (2007 prices).
Train
Taunton has a main line station with fast trains to London (2 hours), Bristol (45 minutes), Birmingham and Plymouth. Click here for information on Taunton station.
Coach
National Express provides a regular service to most parts of the country, Berrys coaches also offer frequent services to various parts of the UK. Both services stop at Taunton bus station, a 10 minute walk from the campus (click here for a map).
Air
Bristol International Airport is approximately 45 minutes by car and Exeter Airport is approximately 35 minutes.
Sea
We are close to Plymouth and Poole with their connection to France, Spain and beyond.
On Foot
The main campus is only 10 minutes stroll from the town centre. View Map of Taunton for directions.
By Cycle
There is a cycle path along Wellington Road and through the campus and more routes are planned. There are cycle racks at several locations throughout the campus. We are committed to green transport and therefore encourage students and staff to cycle whenever possible.
By Bus
If you need to catch a bus to college the following buses drop you virtually at the College's main entrance and all go via Taunton Bus Station: Bus Number 1, 1a, 2, 3, 25a, 28a and 29.
