The level 3 Award and Certificate in Management provides a short programme of study that allows you to focus on work-related management topics. Particularly suitable for someone in a supervisory role who is either new to the workplace or has not been involved in education or training for some time. For the Award you will take one core unit plus two specialist units. For the Certificate you will take three core units plus three specialist units.
Core Units: Improving Performance; Improving the Workplace Environment; Developing Effective Working Relationships.
Specialist Units: Leading a Team; Appraising and Developing Staff; Understanding Financial Management. Note that specialist units can be changed subject to group negotiation. Upon successful completion you could progress to Level 5 Management qualifications.
*Course runs subject to a minimum number of students.
Assessed through work-based assignments.
Related level 2 qualifications or relevant work experience.
