Description
Course Contents: Candidates need to complete four mandatory units: introduction to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974; hazards, risks and risk assessment; electricity, hazardous substances and fire safety; work equipment, personal protection equipment and first aid.
Teaching and Assesment
Candidates work through the learning materials and complete assessments for each unit. Learning activities and assessments for each unit. Learning activities and assessments are based on a combination of knowledge and skills learned on the programme and work-based activities and experience. Each candidate will have access to a tutor who will support them throughout the programme.
