Description
This course is suitable for anyone looking to take the first steps towards becoming a sports coach
Course contents: This course introduces candidates to the basic principles of coaching. Candidates need to complete three mandatory units: The principles of coaching; working with children and adults; psychology, learning and communication.
Teaching and Assesment
Candidates work through the learning materials and complete assessments for each unit. Learning activities are based on a combination of knowledge and skills learned on the programme and work-based activities and experience. Each candidate will have access to a tutor who will support them throughout the programme.
