This course is for people with some management experience at operational level who are looking to gain promotion or improve their management skills and knowledge. It is also suitable for supervisors wishing to progress into management.
The aim of the level 5 (Award, Certificate and Diploma) in Management is to provide managers with the skills needed to operate effectively in a management capacity and may also be useful to those aspiring to a management role. It is intended for those with some management experience but without formal qualifications, such as supervisors who hope to move to management positions and recent graduates. For the level 5 Management Certificate you will cover units including Communications at Work; Managing Projects and Managing Marketing.
The Certificate follows on from the Award for a further 12 weeks and then you progress to the Diploma for a final 12 week block.
Upon successful completion of all three levels you can progress to Level 7 or other higher level business qualifications at this college.
Through work based assignments which could include written reports or oral presentations.
Ideally a related level 3 qualification combined with relevant work experience or be in a management role. Recent graduates, new to management.
Tuition Fees: ££1,040 for all three blocks - Award, Certificate and Diploma.
Awarding Body Fee: £150 (existing students progressing from the Award pay 50% of the Awarding Body Fee)
