This basic entry level English language course is a good starting point for speakers of other languages with very little English.

Our ESOL courses enable you to access five levels of learning - entry level, entry levels 1-3 and higher levels 1 and 2. They develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and include grammar, access and study skills and are available at different levels to suit your ability and needs. All courses prepare students for the Cambridge ESOL exams in Speaking and Listening and Reading and Writing. These exams are taken at intervals throughout the academic year and the skills gained from these courses also prepare you for the KET - Key English Test, PET - Preliminary English Test and FCE - First Certificate in English Test - all well recognised by employers. The college can also facilitate students who wish to these qualifications.
