Climate change, environmental depletion and a growing shortage of natural resources are increasingly having an impact on how businesses are run.
Businesses need to be more responsive to change and to build up resilience to face future challenges. Trade is changing rapidly in a volatile International market. Consumers are demanding fair prices as well as ethical behaviour and the Government is expected to introduce tougher environmental legislation. Businesses that do not respond to change could face ever more serious repercussions.
The course is designed to assist managers to improve their leadership and management skills in response to: • Changing environmental legislation • Changing consumer demands in relation to ethical behaviour • Staff engagement with change and change management • Staff retention and training
The course comprises three complementary modules, which can also be taken separately:

It will offer a selection of traditional and interactive learning materials, including videos and online discussion forums. All participants will have the chance to get additional support with the technical aspects of the online work.
The CPD is worth 60 credits at Level 1 Higher Education and could form a part of a Foundation degree.
