Summary

Every building project starts with a client, an individual or group who for whatever reason makes the decision to invest capital in either altering existing structures or creating new ones. This work is generally carried out by a team of professionals employed by the client to ensure the desired outcome is achieved. On the face of it, this sounds like a fairly straight forward process, but how often are clients truly satisfied with the finished product?

We, at Genesis, believe that a well informed, pro-active client is vital to the success of a building project and in particular sustainable building projects.

Sustainable construction is one of the most important agendas of our time. There are numerous reasons for this such as the threat of serious climate change, flooding, resource depletion, the threat to biodiversity and fuel poverty to name but a few. What this means is that it has never been more important to ensure that the building you wanted is the building you actually get. This CPD, we hope, will arm you with the knowledge you need, as a client, to play an active and informed role in the design and delivery of your sustainable building and thus ensure that what matters most is not lost.

The cost includes locally sourced lunch and certificate for all CPD Modules and may be accepted by your company or institution as five hours CPD.
