Summary

The CIOB Experienced Practitioner Award is a professional qualification providing career development opportunities for those with relevant technical knowledge and management experience within the Construction industry.

Description

This is a 1 year part-time flexible mode of study with attendance opportunities on a Friday and Saturday depending on individual student needs.  The course provides support and guidance for the key knowledge and skills required for the successful completion of Part B of the EPA programme.

There are 4 modules in Part B , namely:

• Construction Technology
• Health, Safety and the environment
• Management
• Contract and Commercial Practice

Modules 1 and 2 are assignment based whilst modules 3 and 4 are examinations.

Teaching and Assesment

The course will give you guidance and support in developing your knowledge and skills for the various aspects of the programme, with flexible study opportunities to suit individual needs.

Career Opportunities

The programme is one of a number of routes for obtaining full membership of the Chartered Institute of Building.  Candidates are strongly recommended to refer to the CIOB website for full details of the EPA programme and other membership routes.

All applicants will be considered on individual merit and interviewed to ensure they have the potential to achieve this qualification.
