Does the thought of giving a presentation fill you with dread!  We can help you settle these butterflies… We can’t get rid of them, but we can help you get them flying in formation!

This one day, practical workshop will help you to gain confidence in presenting whilst developing effective presentations and public speaking skills.  Presentation skills are useful in many aspects of working life, the skills that you will gain from this course will be valuable tools for anyone who has to stand up in front of an audience and deliver a presentation.  The course will improve confidence, public speaking skills and give you the expertise to deliver your own materials.

Prior to the day we will ask you to produce a mini presentation that you will use in the afternoon.

The morning will cover

• The key to a good presentation
• Helpful hints and tips on creating and presenting eye catching and   interesting presentations
• Techniques to ease those butterflies!

Lunch will give you an opportunity to share the experiences of the morning and maybe compare notes.

The afternoon will cover

• A recap on the morning with a chance to ask all those questions that developed over lunch!
• The delivery of your presentation with constructive feedback from your peers and trainer
• A chance to evaluate the afternoon and an opportunity to gather more useful and practical advice from your trainer

Group sizes are normally between 8 and 12 delegates; this helps to maximise on the personal support given to each individual person. Courses run between 9.30 and 16.30 with lunch and refreshments provided on the day. Delegates are able to keep their full course manual for future reference.
